About John Rokisky

John Rokisky is an experienced real estate professional who has served buyers and sellers throughout Southwest Virginia since 2017. His service area includes Roanoke City and the counties of Roanoke, Bedford, Botetourt, Franklin, Montgomery, Pulaski, and Wythe.

Before entering real estate, John built a successful 25-year career in orthopedic medical sales, earning national Circle of Excellence recognition for his performance. He has also worked in specialty sales, construction estimating, and the lumber industry. These diverse professional experiences strengthened the communication, problem-solving, and property knowledge he now brings to every real estate transaction.

A Virginia Tech graduate with a degree in forestry, John offers valuable insight for clients interested in rural acreage, farms, and land. Since beginning his real estate career, he has helped clients buy and sell a wide variety of Southwest Virginia properties, including single-family homes, condominiums, lake properties, farms, land, and even a bed-and-breakfast.

John appreciates the variety that real estate brings and the opportunity to meet and assist people from many different backgrounds. He takes the time to understand each client’s needs, provide practical guidance, and connect them with trusted experts when a transaction requires specialized knowledge.

Outside of real estate, John and his wife, Susan, enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors. A dedicated do-it-yourselfer, he also enjoys tackling challenging projects—while respecting the value of knowing when it is time to call an expert.
